Homebodii Bride of the Month: Elise Faust

Elise Faust, a model and content creator from Sydney shares her journey on creating the perfect Italian inspired wedding. Wanting to bring the warmth of the European summer style to Sydney, the bride and groom tied the knot at the Palladio Arcadia, a stunning estate in the hinterlands of Sydney. Focusing on creating calm in the wedding planning process Elise secured a wedding planner early on to help her create her perfect day.

The bride wore three dresses throughout her day starting with a Steven Khalil design for the ceremony, followed by a reception and after party gowns by Aston Bridal. The bride’s Homebodii moment of the day began with Elise and her bridesmaids donned their personalised robs and slips “it was so special and something we’ll keep forever.”

A little about me...

I am a Sydney based model and content creator. I have been modelling for over 10 years now, and a few years ago started content creation. I love all things wellness, beauty and travel. I have two pet birds that I am obsessed with! I was a February 2024 bride. I met my husband randomly on a night out, at a bar in 2018. The rest is history!

We first approached the wedding planning process by locking in our wedding planner early on. We then locked in our dream venue, and then all of the other elements. We approached it calmly and we enjoyed the process working with our amazing planners and seeing everything come together.

The most unexpected part of the day was…

That my Dad could not get off the dance floor, he was beaming with happiness the whole night and spinning everyone around dancing. It was a real highlight!

So incredibly happy, but also a little sad that it's over! The day truly goes by so fast. 

A word of advice to new brides would be…

Try not to stress about the little things, make sure to eat breakfast and drink lots of water the morning of, and ultimately do what makes you and your partner happy. The day goes by so fast, so make sure to take it all in!
