A little bit about me…
Hi my name is Taylor Jane, I’m 30-years-old and a mother of two. I live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and I am now officially a WIFE!! I recently married the man of my dreams and the best father to our two beautiful boys. We have been together for 12-years, he made me the real life Carrie Bradshaw and made me wait 10 years before proposing haha. We got married on the 26/06/26 in Brisbane, it was a day I’ll never forget.

We always knew we wanted a small wedding with just immediate family and closet friends. Our wedding planning definitely hasn’t been easy but finally the day has come and gone but we will remember the beautiful memories.

We’re so glad that we went with a private dining experience for our reception as it felt much more like us, it felt like a big family Christmas dinner with amazing food at Rothwells Bar & Grill.
The most unexpected part of the day was…
I was not expecting my aisle florals to be a no show… I wasn’t expecting horrible rainy weather for the month of June… I wasn’t expecting many things that didn’t go according to plan. But all and all I got to marry the love of my life, and had a wonderful day with the people I love the most.
When I look back now, I feel…
When I look back now, I feel like I put a lot of effort into perfecting the day, yet it still didn’t happen the way I planned but it was completely out of my control so if I had any advice always prepare for things to not go your way, but don’t let that be the only thing you take from the day.
My advice to new brides…
GET THE WEDDING PLANNER & COORDINATOR! I know you think it’s saving money and you can do it all by yourself but don’t, it’s so stressful and there is so much you don’t know about. It would have made my life easier having someone help me that does this for a living and knows the ins and outs. They can take control in communicating between each vendor instead of them trying to communicate with you, or somebody else in the bridal party who is way too busy taking on other roles.

I got to gift my bridesmaids the Homebodii black long sleeve and long pant set.I had them personalised with their initials to make them that little bit extra and show them how much I appreciate them and that way they will always have something to remember the day.
I wore the Peyton Long Slip in white. She was a bridal dream! Super comfy and flowy and for someone who struggles with my mum-tum, I really didn’t want anything that clung to her and was visible. She was a dream and photographed so well I felt like a real bridal princess.
