Homebodii and Jai Vasicek have come together to create a number of limited edition sleepwear pieces inspired by Jai's iconic Blanc et Bleue Print - La Boheme. Keeping in line with his artful approach to life this rare capsule collection is limited edition and includes four pieces including Kimono Robe, Oversized Short Pyjama Set, Capri Pyjama set and Cami set.
Based out of Byron Bay, Jai Vasicek is one of Australia’s most sought-after mixed-media artists, producing stunning paintings, prints, embellished crosses and decorative tiles. Most of his works are abstracted or embellished portraits, using bright colours and layering techniques to create real statement pieces. Jai captures the true essence of feminine whimsicality in his abstract and native tribal woman. His use of colour and patterns encapsulates the feminine form in all its beauty, provoking the inner goddess within us all.
A part of Homebodii focus is to partner with creatives to merge meaningful and original pieces that provide our audience garments that fulfil their search for uniqueness. As a sleepwear and loungewear brand Homebodii strives to deliver uniqueness. This collaboration see's both Homebodii and Jai bring to life pieces that are inspired by art and an effortless Australian coastal lifestyle.
"I have always admired doing collaborations with people that challenge conventional design, people who bring fashion and art together as a relationship, embracing and trusting one’s life journey and inspiration into their own.
Collaborating with such a beautiful brand like Homebodii has been so natural - they’ve believed in my work and the ethereal connection beyond it, and translated it through their design medium.
This particular piece of artwork was created while on my travels in Marrakesh and is part of my ‘La Boheme’ original artwork series"
